Air Fryer Frozen Chicken Patties

Cook Frozen Chicken Patties in the Air Fryer for an Easy and Crispy Meal

Making frozen chicken patties in the air fryer is one of the easiest ways to whip up a tasty chicken sandwich! It’s so fast, that you’ll skip the drive-thru line and enjoy a crispy, delicious chicken patty right at home.

Why We Love Air Fryer Chicken Patties

My family can’t get enough of chicken sandwiches! From the latest fast-food offerings to homemade favorites, we’ve tried them all. But when we need a quick meal, frozen chicken patties come to the rescue. No more waiting in line at the restaurant! Thanks to the air fryer, these patties come out crispy and golden—no soggy microwave results here.

A Perfect Meal for Busy Nights

Keeping frozen chicken patties on hand is a lifesaver when you’re short on time or energy. Whether it’s lunch or a quick dinner, these patties are ready in under 10 minutes, making them perfect for those “I’m d-o-n-e” days. Serve them with air fryer frozen French fries or waffle fries, and you’ve got a meal that’ll make the kids happy every time.

Ingredient Notes:

  • Frozen Chicken Patties: Use any brand you like! We used Tyson’s breaded frozen chicken patties, but the spicy variety is also fantastic. They turn out crispy and flavorful.
  • Hamburger Buns: Any type of bun will work, but we prefer the simple, budget-friendly ones. They’re just the right size for chicken patties.
  • Toppings: Go wild with your favorites! I like mayo, lettuce, and tomato, while my kids go for mayo and pickles. Cheese is always a great option too.

How to Cook Frozen Chicken Patties in the Air Fryer

  1. Spray or brush a little oil in your air fryer basket. This step helps give the patties a crispy finish, but you can skip it if you like.
  2. Place your frozen chicken patties in the basket and mist them lightly with oil. Again, this isn’t required, but it adds that “freshly fried” texture we love.
  3. Set your air fryer to 400°F and cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness. If you like them extra crispy, add another 2 minutes.

Pro Tip: Cook to Perfection!

For perfectly juicy chicken, make sure the internal temperature hits 165°F. Use a meat thermometer to check. It’s the best way to ensure a tender, safe-to-eat patty every time.

With these easy steps, you’ll have a crispy, juicy chicken sandwich in no time. Add your favorite toppings, and enjoy a meal that’s just as satisfying as your favorite fast food—without leaving the house!
